This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how you can access or correct your information.
What we collect
When you contact us, book a consultation, or use our calculators, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, and details about the property type and price range you're looking for. If you browse listings on this site, our server logs and analytics tools (Microsoft Clarity, and Google Analytics if active) record IP addresses, page views, and session behaviour in anonymized or pseudonymized form.
How we use it
We use your contact information only to respond to your inquiry, schedule a consultation, or send you property updates you've requested. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share information with our brokerage (RE/MAX Magnolia) or with service providers (email platform, website host) solely to deliver the services you've requested — those providers are bound by confidentiality obligations.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses Microsoft Clarity for session recording and heatmaps. Clarity collects anonymized interaction data (mouse movements, clicks, scroll depth) to help us improve the site experience. No personally identifying information is attached to Clarity sessions. If Google Analytics 4 is active, it collects page-level traffic data under Google's own privacy terms. You can opt out of browser-based tracking by using your browser's privacy settings or a content-blocking extension.
MLS® listing data
Property listing data displayed on this site is provided under licence from the Fraser Valley Real Estate Board, Chilliwack & District Real Estate Board, and Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver. We do not store your searches or browsing history tied to your identity unless you explicitly create an account or saved-search preference.
Retention
We keep contact inquiry data for up to 24 months in case you return to the market. If a transaction closes, we retain records as required by BC real estate regulations and our brokerage's record-keeping obligations. You can ask us to delete your data at any time (subject to legal retention requirements).
Your rights
You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, request corrections, withdraw consent (which may limit our ability to help you), and file a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or BC's Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner.
